Books may be dropped off in the donation cart by the library entrance. If you have many items please drive around to the back and ring the bell and  library staff will assist you (available only during library hours).

Some of the donated books are now available for sale at $1 or $2 on the shelves in the foyer of the library.

We need your books NOW! Please bring your gently used books for adults and children, videos, audio books, CDs, DVDs and tapes.

The Friends book sale is held annually in the fall in the Community Room at the library.  An enthusiastic group of volunteers will pre-sort the books, help set up the sale, and assist customers on sale days. Preview party for the Friends of the Library will be held prior to sale. Join us for the camaraderie of a cause and the chance to preview and buy books before the sale to non-members begins.

Annual Book Sale

The Friends of the Weston Library is a non profit organization dedicated to supporting, promoting and enhancing the excellence of this local library.

  • We provide funding for the young adult's and children's summer reading programs
  • We donate money for books, tapes, CD's and DVD's to enrich the collection.
  • We dream up programs, trips, parties, music concerts and speakers all of which are open to the public.
  • We accept and organize books and then staff our annual used book sale
  • We provide financial support for the Local History Room
  • We subsidize museum passes to many local attractions.

We depend completely on contributions which we raise in two ways: annual memberships and the used book sale. Your contribution of $20 or more makes you a member of The Friends. We have over 500 members. Please join us!
