Go Green! 2010 Summer Reading Program!
Keep track of your reading this summer and earn prizes for the books you read and record in your summer reading log.
Summer Readers (grades one through six) keep track of either the books they read OR the time spent reading. Sign up here...
Young Readers (preschool through first grade) keep track of the books read with their parents, siblings or other friends. Sign up here...
Enter the title and author of each books read, as well as a short review. Count up the books (or time) and earn prize points! You can spend your prize points as soon as you get them, or accumulate some for larger prizes. You must come to the library to pick up your prizes.
The program starts Tuesday, June 15th, and continues through Sunday, August 22nd. All reading must be entered by the August 22nd DEADLINE.

Children's Programs
at the Library
Please check the Library calendar for our special programs. This fall, that includes several programs sponsored by the Friends in November and two special workshops sponsored by the Weston Cultural Council in October.

Programs
Read, sing, and play with us! We have all kinds of activities, events and programs-all-year-'round-not to mention loads of books, CDs, DVDs, magazines, books-on-CD, CD-ROMS and Playaways you can check out!
Library Lapsit -- Sing along with Jeannie Mack!
Third Thursdays 10:30 - 11:30
For babies and toddlers, ages 6 months to two years, and their caregiver. An adult must stay with the child. Join us and sing, dance, wiggle and play. Drop-in, September through June.
Two Year Old Storytime
Wednesday Mornings, 10:30 or 11:00!
For two year olds and their caregiver. An adult must stay with the
child. Stories, fingerplays and a craft built on a theme.
Five or six week sessions.
Preschool Storytimes
Tuesdays at 4:00 or Wednesdays at 3:00
For three to five year olds.
Adults must stay in the building. Longer stories, poetry, and a follow-up
craft.
Five or six week sessions. *Registration Required. We must have at least
eight people register to participate in order to have a program.
After School BookClubs
For First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders.
Mondays - 4th & 5th graders
Tuesdays - 1st & 2nd graders
Thursdays - 2nd & 3rd graders
After school - 3:15
Take Bus #6 to the library, and share a chapter book
in weekly installments while coloring, playing quiet games or just letting your imagination wander. A low key way to enjoy literature in the library!

Toddler Movies !
Thursdays at 10:30 (except for Library Lapsit weeks)
Come into the library and enjoy a short preschool movie. Movies are generally 20 to 40 minutes long, and geared towards ages two to four.
Vacation Crafts!
For all ages! Drop in all day (until 30 minutes before closing) during school vacation weeks in our Craft Room and create a work of art to bring home! If your child cannot read directions, an adult must remain in the Craft Room.
*Registration for Library programs is limited to Weston residents for the first week. Open Registration begins the second week.
