Emerging Treatments for Alzheimer's Disease

This talk will review the science and controversy underlying the approval of the first new medication for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease in almost two decades and discuss the implications for new therapies currently in development. Presented by Dr. Oleg Yerstein, director for the Center for Memory and Cognitive Disorders; associate program director for the Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center; and assistant professor of Neurology at Tufts University Medical School.
