School days may look different this fall...

The library is here to support students, teachers, and lifelong learners throughout the school year. The library is working hard to make sure that we have the materials and programs that families need. We are open for curbside pickup, for in-person browsing appointments, or online through our digital library and virtual programming.

We welcome patrons to book a 1/2 hour browsing browsing appointment to use the library. Just remember that patrons need to be 10+ years old to use the library independently and that younger kiddos need to be with a parent or adult caretaker. Unfortunately, the library is not open for extended visits or tutoring at this time.

Expanded in-person browsing coming in October

Starting in October, the library will open on Sundays for in-person browsing. You can guarantee your spot by making an appointment for a half hour browsing session. Hours will be announced shortly. For more information, please visit our appointment booking page.

Whether you are sitting in a classroom or at the kitchen table, the library has something for every student. If you aren't able to come in and browse for the materials you need, here is a quick overview of some of the great databases and digital research resources available through the library. Also, don't forget about the eBooks and audiobooks available through Hoopla and Overdrive/Libby and our other digital library services. 

For little kids:

• Britannica Learning Zone- Learning Zone is a classroom-tested, interactive learning environment that gives early learners enjoyable, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities.

• Gale- In Context Middle School- Topic based research and learning

• Gale High School Edition- Find information on high school research topics plus pop culture, sports, and more the arts, science, popular culture, health, people, government, history, sports and more.
• Britannica High School- this reference and learning suite also offers high-quality online learning materials that have been developed by teachers and curriculum experts.
