April Reflections

The Council on Aging kept busy in April offering the opportunity to participate in

Vaccine clinics
12 weekly fitness classes
3 support groups
Crafting
10+ virtual presentations and programs, including Birds of Prey Rehabilitation, Hearing Loss, Afro-Caribbean Dancing and Drumming, American Art, and a mosaic workshop... and so much more!

Last month we handed out over 60 succulents to community members as a spring gifts.


Many of our residents 65+ have been partially or fully vaccinated and we continue to provide support to those still seeking appointments.

We hope you will join us this spring for our virtual presentations and spreading the word of all that we offer. By the way... everyone is welcome! if you're not 55+ yet but interested in joining a program, please don't hesitate to reach out! Order a Pancake Breakfast For Someone

Pick up Friday, May 21, 9:30-10am

If you know someone who deserves something special, register to pick up a delicious breakfast of pancakes, sausage, and fresh fruit prepared by Weston's Ye Olde Cottage and deliver it as a surprise.

For the safety of all, masks are required during pick up.

Order by May 18.

You can take the COA with you wherever you go! The COA has a valued partnership with the Weston Media Center to manage COA program recordings so that past presentations can be accessed any time from anywhere. These recordings are available to all Weston residents! We encourage you to enjoy them yourself or help a family member, friend, or neighbor access them.

Our on-demand programs cover a diverse range of subjects related to health & wellness, aging, travel destinations, cooking, events, and more to fit your interests.
