We are mask-friendly and happy to have you back, masked or unmasks.
The town of Weston no longer requires masks in town buildings. We support your choice to wear a mask as well as the choice by those that are fully vaccinated not to wear a mask. Just a reminder that those who are not vaccinated should wear a mask to protect themselves and others.

Small Group Fitness Training

with Michelle Nickerson

Tuesdays, July 6-August 10, 11:00-12:00 at the COA

Fitness instructor Michelle Nickerson will lead a 6-week small group training that will address individual fitness goals and focus on correcting exercise form. Cost: $60

4-week training for $40 is also available July 6-27.

New Treatments in Osteoarthritis

Friday, July 9, 10:00-11:00 on Zoom

Joanne Borg-Stein, MD, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Harvard Medical School, will review options for non-surgical treatments for osteoarthritis and provide an update on new injection treatment options.

Weston Scramblers

NEW Golf Group - Open to all!

Join other golfers at the Leo J. Memorial Golf Course for 9-hole golf scramble, a fun format for informal rounds among casual golfers. Meet by 12:15 for 12:30 tee time every Wednesday.

Cost: $22 inclusive of 9 holes and golf cart, payable to the golf course on the day of play (not to the COA.) Golfers are required to have some golf experience and knowledge of golf etiquette.

Weston Gives Back

July Donation Drive for Welcome Home

We are hosting donation drives for local organizations in great need, as donations tend to dip for nonprofits in the summer. Collection boxes will be stationed in the COA vestibule on the ground level of the Community Center.

Welcome Home, a nonprofit organization in Newton Center, collects and redistributes like-new household items to local families and individuals experiencing hardship with basic household items they need to live with dignity. These items are provided with no fees, no forms, and no requirements. Items that are tarnished, stained, overused, or broken are not accepted.

New and gently used items accepted are:
mixing bowls, utensils & silverware, glasses & mugs, plates & bowls, food storage containers, dish towels, sheet sets (all sizes, folded and labeled with size), new pillows, shower curtains, bath mats, new bath towels

The Twangtown Paramours: Nationally known for their award-winning songs, this husband and wife duo will bring their “Sophisticated Americana” style featuring a hybrid of the Nashville and Austin music scenes.
