100 Cards for 100 Years

Weston resident Anne Woodside is turning 100 years old this month! Anne is a long-time resident of Weston, having lived here over 60 years. The COA is collecting 100 cards to celebrate her 100th birthday. You can help us with our 100 card goal by filling out a card for her and return it to the COA at the Community Center by Thursday, August 26th.

Birthday cards are available at the COA if you would like to come in and fill one out or you can drop off a card at the COA at any time in the black mailbox outside the lower level door of the Community Center, 20 Alphabet Lane.

We hope you will join us in providing Anne 100 smiles when she reads her 100 birthday greetings. We’re happy to answer any questions, 781-786-6280.

The use of spices can turn your pantry into a medicinal cabinet! Presenter Anjana Bhargava, Ayurvedic Practitioner, grew up using these spices and will guide you in unlocking the secrets of turmeric, ginger, heeng, nutmeg, neem and black pepper and their medicinal properties. Call the COA at 781-786-6280 to register.
