April showers...make us look forward to May?

Not so fast! April may have had more than its fair share of chilly, dreary days, but don't write it off yet! There is still fun to be had in these last days of April.

For those who can't wait to put the month of tax filing and the start of spring allergies in the rearview, here's what you can look forward to in May.

Need something to do with the fam on Saturday? Join us across the street at Land's Sake Farm for an Earth Day Extravaganza! Ms. Kelly will be doing storytime throughout the day and have take-and-make crafts for the kids. There will be many other local organizations, vendors, and even toe-tapping tunes. Park at the WPL, hit up the event, and pop into the library on the way back to your car to cap off a perfect day.

April is Poetry Month and this newsletter has been woefully short on verse. Thankfully, one of our young patrons is helping us go out with a bang by allowing us to share some poems she wrote about the library. Here is our favorite:
