What do an oyster farm tour, Boston foodie tour,
a Bo & Bill Winiker Band concert, a guest speaker flying in from Mayland,
and a local panel in honor of International Day of Peace have in common?
They're all things we're looking forward to in September!

We can’t help ourselves but share our excitement about our September newsletter and all that we’ve packed into an impressive month. Check out our reflections on an incredible summer and a taste of we're looking forward to this month below!

A Summer to Remember - Reflections

We checked off all the boxes for a great summer, and hope you did too!

To start, we did our fair share of traveling!
We spent an incredible day on the river for an architecture cruise and went on a private Fenway Park tour. We also traveled to Belgium, Morocco, and Iceland.. can you believe it? (Okay, these last three trips were virtual but we it felt like we were there!)

We got together and enjoyed good food!
Folks ate around town for a private lunch at Heirloom and a picnic lunch on the Community Center patio. Our new police chief, Chief Denis J. Linehan, joined us for coffee in both July and August!

We listened to live music!
We hosted internationally-acclaimed violinist Ilana Zaks as a part of her Farewell Boston tour before she joins the Yale Symphony Orchestra this month.

We escaped the heat and relaxed!
We took time out from our busy summer schedules to replenish and rejuvenate with a guided session of yoga nidra (also known as "sleep yoga" and blissful!),sat back and learned about this history of Boston ballparks, and enjoyed the new series Julia.
