WHAT TO BRING:
- Household hazardous products.
- Keep items in the original sealed containers if possible. No commercially generated waste will be accepted.
EXAMPLES: Oil & Latex based Paints, and Strippers**. Paint thinner, Solvents, Stains & Varnish. Wood Preservatives, Solvent Adhesives, Plastering Compound, Joint Compound, Lighter Fluid, Waste Fuels (Kerosene, Gasoline), Antifreeze, Engine Degreaser, Motor Oil, Carburetor Cleaner, Brake Fluid, Transmission Fluid, Car Wax, Poisons, Insecticides, Fungicides, Fertilizer, Weed Killers, Mothballs, No-Pest Strips, Flea Powder, Hobby Supplies, Artist Supplies, Rubber Cement, Airplane Glue, Fiberglass Resins, Photo Chemicals, Chemistry Sets, Cleaning Supplies, Furniture/Floor and Metal Polishes, Oven/Toilet Bowl & Drain Cleaners, Rug & Upholstery Cleaners, Spot Removers, Aerosol Cans, Dry Cleaning Solvents, Septic Tank Degreasers, Pool Chemicals, Driveway Sealer. 

WHAT NOT TO BRING:
EXAMPLES: Tires, Ammunition, Fireworks, Explosives, Radioactive Wastes, Compressed Gas Cylinder, Infectious & Biological Wastes, Prescription Medicines/Syringes, Shock- Sensitive Materials, Commercial or Industrial Wastes, Bulk Drums, 


**DO NOT BRING LATEX PAINT, THIS CAN BE DRIED OUT OR MIXED WITH KITTY LITTER AND DISPOSED OF IN THE TRASH.

Items that CAN be recycled at the Transfer Station:

Smoke Detectors, Empty Aerosols, Televisions & Computers, Car Batteries, Dry Cell Batteries, Cathode Ray Tubes, and Propane Tanks

How can I be safe in transporting these hazardous materials?

Tighten caps and lids leaving materials in original labeled containers. Pack containers in sturdy, upright boxes and pad with newspaper.
Sort  and pack separately: Oil Paint, Pesticides and Cleaners.
Avoid spills and do not place on garbage bags.
NEVER  MIX  CHEMICALS. Pack your car and drive directly to the site.
NEVER SMOKE while handling/transporting hazardous materials
