Minuteman Library Network Library Crawl

August 1, 10 AM- 5 PM. A “crawl,” or tour, is a fun way to visit multiple Libraries in your area. Travel from Library to Library; meet the friendly staff and learn more about what the libraries around have to offer!

We have many different Libraries on the crawl. The challenge is to visit as many as you can and take a picture of yourself with a designated item in each library – it’s a 21st century scavenger hunt! Post your pics and tag the libraries #mlncrawl2019 – we love our social media :)

Each library will have handouts and giveaways – show your pictures to a librarian (or if you don’t have a camera, just tell a librarian you’re on the crawl, we’re pretty trusting ) and receive a PRIZE!

All are welcome to participate – children, families, adults, everyone! Start where you want, end where you want – it’s a self-guided crawl

RB Digital: Magazines available anytime

Hundreds of magazine titles available from RBdigital and Overdrive. RBdigital features full-color, digital magazines on your computer or mobile device (IOS, Android, Kindle Fire). With this service, patrons can add new and back issues to personal reading libraries with no holds, no checkout periods, and no limits to the number of magazines checked out and downloaded. The New Yorker, Cook's Illustrated, and National Geographic are just a few of the popular magazine titles available from RBdigital. Fun Activities in the Kid's Department all summer long!

There is a lot to do in the Children's room all summer long! Did you know that one of our Children's Summer reading activities is to write a letter to our pen pals at the Carnegie Free Library in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania? We've gotten some great letters so far from our friends in Pennsylvaia and we're letting them know a little bit about life in Weston- including about the wildlife in our backyards

In addition to our programs, kids can enter into our guessing jar contest, pop into the craft room anytime to make a new craft every week, bring the whole clan for Family Game Night every Tuesday 6-8 PM, or come to one of our summer story times.

DIY Pinterest craft class is back!

Our popular DIY Pinterest Crafting Class series is back for August and early September. Adult crafters of all abilities are encouraged to sign up for one or all of the crafts in this series. All materials are provided and it is sure to be a good time. Here is what's on deck for this round:
