Welcome to Budapest. To put it simply, if you haven't been here, it's time you make plans to do so someday. Joined by the building of the Chain Bridge in the mid-1800s, Budapest is the result of a merger between two distinct cities: Buda on the Western bank and Pest on the opposite - each with its own charm and interest.
